Avoid contact with AGGRESSIVE CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES (perfume, skin oil, beauty products, pools…)
They might need some gentle cleansing now and then to keep the sparkle alive but we recommend to not over polish, let them age organically, this creates a beautiful patina and shows the true life of your treasure.
Our preferred method of polishing is using a good polishing cloth (u can find it here).
Another option is to clean it with warm water and diluted mild soap or baking soda, brush it (genlty) with a toothbrush and then rinse well and dry it with a soft cloth.
The environment and the way u treat the jewel play a key role in speeding up the process of aging.
Humidity and frequent handling can speed up the process as well as one's individual skin Ph balance.
Never store your jewellery in the bathroom as the moisture can cause rapid oxidisation.
If you live in a moist climate we strongly recommend you store the jewellery in a ziplock bag or original package.
